I'll tell you... In 2019, I scored my final strike. It was a day of mixed emotions because, since I was 18, I had always worked for others. It was years of learning in companies that gave me valuable tools, taught me how to treat customers and provide exceptional service. I am eternally grateful for that experience. But after 10 years at the same company, I made one of the hardest decisions of my life: to quit . I did it with fear, a lot of fear. It's not easy to leave behind a secure salary and incredible benefits. But my greatest motivation was my children, my family, and my dream of having something of my own, something that would allow me to manage my time and build my future. Even before I quit, I was already preparing. I took courses in Digital Marketing, Social Media, and Customer Service, and attended events where I met many women, like me, who dreamed of starting their own businesses. I became certified as a Social Media Manager and began managing a relative's social media as an internship. Little by little, small businesses began requesting my services: I created content, designed graphic art, offered mentorships, and offered workshops. It was a dream come true! So, my husband made me a proposal: "If you're so good at social media, why don't we open a retail business?" I replied hesitantly: "But what am I going to sell? I don't know any suppliers." And he told me something I'll never forget: "Look it up, investigate... you can do it too." So I did. With just $500, we started selling handbags, until I found my true niche: jewelry.
